Vaporizers Bring Essential Oil Molecules into the Air
Vaporizers are also known as evaporators, fragrance burners or diffusers. In Amharic they may be called as Matnegna. Vaporizers can be made from ceramic or metal and are excellent tools that can easily spread minute particles of essential oils (EO) into the air. The small bowl on top of the vaporizer is first filled with water and then few drops of a suitable aroma Oil are added to it. When the candle placed below is lit, the heat causes the EO to gradually evaporate and fill the room with a pleasant fragrance. Once in the air the EO molecules reduce bacteria and other disease causing organisms. A few words of caution! Ensure that the water never evaporates completely; place the vaporizer on a non-flammable surface, not on top of furniture; do not leave the lit candle unattended and keep it always out of reach of children. Where to use diffusers: At home, hotels, bars, sauna, libraries, offices, clinics, hospitals etc.
Scented candles are made by blending EOs in the candle. When burning such candles gradually release the EO into the air, gradually bringing fragrance to the surrounding space.
